Acer palmatum 'Geisha Gone Wild'
Pink Variegated

Japanese Maple

Zones 5 - 9

'Geisha Gone Wild' Japanese maple was found as a variegated sport off of 'Geisha'. 'Geisha Gone Wild' is a beauty that leafs out with bright pink margined variegation on a deeper red. By summer, in full sun in the south the leaf on 'Geisha Gone Wild' changes to a green with cream variegation.

When given morning sun and afternoon shade, the spring pink and red coloration maintains for the longest amount of time. 'Geisha Gone Wild' will reach 7 ft in 10 years with a vase-like shape. Fall colors on the 'Geisha Gone Wild' Japanese maple are a hot pink to bright purples.

Great Product!

I ordered Geisha Gone Wild to plant for my baby granddaughter. It arrived in great shape and was packaged to prevent any bending or breakage. It is true to its description. I would definitely order again from Mr. Maple. Thanks for a great job of customer service!

Pretty tree.

Bought a 1 gallon. Tree came in nice shape and is about 2.5 ft tall. New growth on top is a nice pink while the older grow is a light green with white edges. I recommend getting one :)

Amazing colors.

Mine just leafed out in late Spring; it was a bit later leafing than some of my other Japanese maple cultivars-what a lovely surprise!

Nice pop of color in my yard

I purchased GGW at a recent Mr. Maple Open House event. I have been looking for a maple to provide a pop of red color in my yard, but didn't want the typical Bloodgood look and feel. This one fit the bill. I know that the color will transition as the season goes on, but right now it's exactly what I'm looking for.

Also really good height on this one gallon tree, so I'm not feeling like I have to wait a billion years for it to have some presence in the yard.
